Warm temperatures, humid, partly cloudy, and a high chance of rain.


The rainfall radar animation, above, shows that current activity is centered over the main island. This should continue for much of the day. Click the image to see the animation.

The infrared satellite imagery is shown below. Most all of the islands are covered with light clouds currently.

The vertical atmospheric sounding shows 52 mm (~2 inches) of precipitable water, low clouds, a deep moist layer, and a small temperature inversion.


The sea level analysis shows cloud cover to the north, and a high pressure center to the south.
